PLANTAR FASCIITIS / HEEL SPURS
Plantar faciitis is an acute form of inflammation of the band of tissue running across the bottom of your feet.
When the plantar fascia is stretched too far its soft tissue fibers become inflammed, resulting in chronic pain.
The inflammation may be aggravated by shoes that lack appropriate support and by ongoing irritation that sometimes accompanies an active lifestyle.
This may eventually lead to heel spurs and other severe conditions.
